Schedules - How To Use

This page explains how to use the Schedules application to find the schedule you're looking for.

Mandatory Required Information

In order to get you to the proper schedule, we first need to know what Route you're looking for, what Day you're travelling on, and in what Direction you'll be heading.

Sometimes we use terminology that may be confusing. To help with that, we'll include definitions of common terms.

Directions are essentially inbound or outboand, however we translate that to North/South or East/West for ease of use. If you are heading towards Downtown on a North/South route then you are heading inbound. Alternately, if you are headed away from Downtown on an East/West route you are heading outbound.

A Timepoint is a stop, however not all stops are Timepoints. A Timepoint is simply a stop where we guarantee that the bus will not leave before a certain published time. This allows us to reduce the risk of outside factors, such as traffic and weather, impacting the schedules in a dramatic way.

Deviation Zones

Most routes follow their established path and don't deviate with the exception of a detour. However, some routes, such as the Community Shuttle, deviate constantly. If a route has a deviation zone, we display this on the map as a shaded area around the map. You may ride the Community Shuttle as you would a normal bus however you may also request to be picked up or dropped off anywhere within the defined deviation zone for that route.

Future Times

This simply relates to only showing schedules for time that are not in the past. We automatically filter for future times only to reduce the amount of data we need to display but if you need to see earlier times, you may remove this filter.

Trip Planner

We make it easy to plan your trip from any stop (or Timepoint). This will simply link you out to Google Transit with your selected stop as the "From" selection.

  1. Select a Route from the drop down of all of the routes. Or 'Find Nearby Routes' using your current location.
  2. Select a Day of the week, Sunday through Saturday. Schedules and routes change depending on the day of the week so it's important that you let us know. We'll default the selected day to today, so in most cases you won't need to adjust this unless you're looking for another day's schedules.
  3. Select a Direction. Based on the selected Route, we'll limit this to either Northbound/Southboud or Eastbound/Westbound. Simple let us know which way you're headed.

Once the Route, Day, and Direction are selected, we'll be able to show you schedules! Simply click on the bottom right of the screen of scroll down to see the results.
